Beta 0.1.3: Startup Downloaded
Reminder Rose » Devlog
This update adds a significant quality of use addition: being able to set the program to run at startup from within the program itself. No more messing around with files, just a simple check box and you're good to go!
Changes:
- Added "Run at Startup" checkbox to settings menu (seed/orange button)
- Included sub-program to create a shortcut to Reminder Rose
- Thank you Marty List of www.OptimumX.com for "Shortcut.exe"
- Removed references to the manual method of running at startup from readme and game page
- Removed Phrogobrine
Update Procedure
If you previously had downloaded and set up Reminder Rose to run at startup, follow these instructions to get the new system working
- Navigate to the startup folder by pressing Win+R then entering "shell:startup" and pressing Enter.
- If there is not a shortcut for Reminder Rose in the folder, then open Reminder Rose, click the seed/orange, and check the "Run at Startup" box. Observe that there is now a new shortcut file in the startup folder.
- If there is already a shortcut for Reminder Rose in the startup folder, either delete it and follow the instructions in 2 above, or rename the file to "ReminderRoseShortcut" by clicking on the file, and either pressing F2 or right-clicking -> Rename.
