Reminder Rose

Reminder Rose is a little flower that can sit on your desktop to remind you of something you want to get done. Start with a seed and watch it grow. This is just a demo version, but it includes all the core features. I intend to add some premium features later on.

Features:

• Place and drag a little flower pot anywhere on your desktop.
• Select a date and watch your flower grow!
• If you are late, your flower will wither and die. :(
• Two different styles to pick from. (What is the other one?)

• More styles (some might also be included in the demo)

  • Draw your own styles to make the reminder your own
    
• Multiple Reminders
  • Create a whole garden of reminders.

Installation:

1. Place the extracted folder somewhere safe on your computer
2. Make a shortcut of "ReminderRose.exe"
   1. Right click on it > "Create Shortcut"
3. Open the startup folder
   1. Press Win+R
   2. Type "shell:startup"
   3. Press Enter
4. Move the ReminderRose shortcut file to that folder that just opened up
   1. Drag, copy, or move the EXE into the folder
5. Check that it will work
   1. Press CTRL+Shift+ESC to open the Task Manager
   2. Click on the "Startup"
   3. Confirm that "Godot Engine" with a rose icon is present in the list
6. Either restart your computer or double click the "ReminderRose.exe" to start

Usage:

1. Click and drag the pot around to reposition it
2. Click on the small seed to open the menu
3. Set a reminder
   1. Type in a brief description in the top text box
   2. Select a date by clicking "Select Date" and then clicking on the day you want
      1. The reminder will get to the done state the day before this day
      2. Click confirm to continue
   3. Click "Start" to complete the reminder creation and close the menu
4. Restart the reminder by clicking "Clean Up"
5. Exit the menu without changing anything by clicking off the menu or "Maybe Another Day"
6. Change the style by clicking on the "Style" menu and select one of the options

Known Bugs:

• You are currently able to select dates including today and in the past
