Ever wanted to conduct a small choir of frogs? Now's your chance! Just click on the frogs or press the keys listed below to start playing.

Controls:

  • Keyboard: (Low) QWERYUI and 567890-= (High)
    • In downloaded version, you can change the keybinds
  • Mouse: Click on frogs

Possible Future Improvements:

Don't hold your breath, but I might add this stuff later. Very unlikely at this point now that I am moving on from this game.

  • Multi-colored frogs
    • Hear the rainbow
  • Different weather
    • Frogs need some rain now and then
  • Customizable frog colors
    • Random colors are nice, but some people like order
  • Playable song programs
    • Why play songs when you can have the game read and play them for you!
    • Start with some default sample songs
    • Later add player writable songs
  • Story mode
  • PvP Battle Royal mode

Known Bugs:

  • Android version has very long input lag for some reason. It could just be on my phone, though.
  • In the keybinds menu, sometimes the lillypads can get stuck too big or small
  • In the web version, if you move to another tab or click off the game and then return, the keyboard may no longer work
  • Removing hats in the super secret hat mode crashes the game on browser
  • The mouse cursor is a bug

Cute game, although they do sound frog like, i do find the sound grating on some notes.

It is hard to get frogs to sound nice when their ribbits are stretched out. I used audio of a real frog to make all the notes. There might be some other audio things I can fix to make it sound nicer, but I don't know if I will go back to this project or not. We'll see.

This instrument is great

Ha ha. Thank you. 🐸🎵

your welcome

THIS IS AMAZING!! What a cute instrument! I saw your doom cover and I hope that this gets more traction to where there are more covers out there!! All of it is great! The noises, interactivity, and art all fit the bill of being such a nice project! Thank you for sharing :DDD

Ha ha! I'm glad you enjoyed both the video and the game... instrument?... It would likely be nicer if I knew anything about pianos, though. I think I did my best to tune the frogs.

It is still made very well!! I would be more than happy to try and answer any piano related questions you may have. I have actually played it on and off for about 8 years! It is truly an adorable game!

Instrument? Creation :D

In that case, what do you think of the choice of "keys?"

Do you have discord? It may be best to explain over there :D
